The Appi Kogen Ski Resort is one of the largest ski resorts in Japan, operated by Iwate Hotel & Resort Appi and is located near the northern end of Honshu, Japan’s main island.

From Tokyo the easiest way to travel to Appi is via Bullet Train (just over 2 hours) to Morioka Station and then a short bus ride directly to Appi resort (40 minutes).
