This fully-escorted tour begins with a day spent enjoying the sights of the ancient capital – Kyoto- including highlights such as visits to Nijo Castle, Kinkakuji Temple and Kiyomizu Temple.
The following day, the tour moves to the amazing Lake Biwa Otsu Prince Hotel, for 4 nights, playing over 3 days on the surrounding courses of Seta (North Course), Otsu Country Club (Higashi Course), and the Ryuo Golf Course. Expect playing on some of Japan’s most picturesque courses, followed by evenings relaxing in Japan’s famous onsen baths and exquisite Japanese dining experiences.
During your stay in Shiga, you’ll also visit the Miho Museum, a masterpiece of modern architecture designed by I. M. Pei, nestled in the Shigaraki mountains. The museum houses a remarkable collection of Asian and Western antiques, providing a serene and inspiring cultural experience.
Following your museum visit, you’ll explore the renowned Shigaraki pottery-making area, where you can participate in a hands-on pottery-making experience. This experience allows you to connect with Japan’s rich ceramic heritage in one of its most celebrated pottery regions.
The journey then continues to Mie Prefecture, where you’ll enjoy three nights at the fabulous Nemu Resort. You’ll have two full days of golf at the scenic Nemu Golf Club and Kintetsu Kashikojima Country Club, set against the stunning backdrop of Ise-Shima National Park.
