Japan Holidays has commenced a series of Virtual Online Tours covering many facets of Japanese cultural experiences – to be enjoyed in the comfort of your home.

Learn from Japan Holidays’ professional, accredited instructors, whilst participating in hands-on courses matched to interests.

Japan Holidays Virtual Cooking Classes via Zoom – live from Kyoto, Japan

By popular demand, we’ve added an evening class as well!

14th August – 11th September (5 classes) on Friday mornings @ 11am AEST

02nd September – 30th September (5 classes) on Wednesday evenings from 18:30pm AEST


The classes are conducted by Keiko from her Kyoto studio – an instructor with many years experience teaching foreigners and Japanese alike.

Class duration is 30 minutes.

Delivering the class in English – guiding participants step-by-step through all aspects of the cooking process – and the tradition and history behind them. As part of the fun, participants will be sent details of upcoming menus and a shopping list of items should participants like to purchase these locally for future cooking adventures.


Morning Classes: Friday 14th August @ 11am AEST through until Friday 11th September.  There will be 5 weekly sessions in each set of classes.

Evening Classes: Wednesday 2nd September @ 6:30pm AEST through until Wednesday 30th September. There will be 5 weekly sessions in each set of classes.


Total cost is $59 including GST per participant for all 5 sessions.
