Start your tour with a visit to an intricately-built, 100+ year old kabuki theatre in Kyushu’s capital, Fukuoka. With each day, you’ll feast on natural wonders such as the powerful Mount Aso volcanic park, delicate beauty of Japanese gardens, lush forests and roaring waterfalls hidden deep in the forests of Kumamoto.
One of many highlights of this tour is to spend a night in the home of Heike clan samurai descendants, luxuriating in their warm hospitality and five-star traditional cuisine, as well as visiting local historical sites with insights on the samurai’s ultimate flight into the forests for survival.
