Bathing and Relaxation

Rustsu offers some of the most extensive traditional Japanese onsen bathing facilties in Hokkaido, across the 3 accommodation areas – including huge outdoor baths, wet and dry saunas, spa treatment areas and jacuzzis and cold dipping pools.

Onsens in the Rusutsu Resort Hotel South Wing bathing area use the pure, underground water from the foot of  nearby Mt. Yotei.

Indoor Activities

Rusutsu offers plenty of indoor activities to be enjoyed rain or shine, including ones found only in Hokkaido.Activities includes cooking experiences featuring locally sourced milk and foods, plus a huge range of handicraft programs to take part in, including local cheese and ice cream making, leather crafting, candle craft and t-shirt print making.

For the more energetic, the resort features a rock climbing wall and table tennis.

The resort also features a Two-story merry-go-round (carousel) – one of the world’s biggest indoor carousels, a Game world, bustling with claw machines, nostalgic Whack-A-Mole and many other game machines and a free Monorail
which shuttles between the South Wing and The Westin Rusutsu Resort.
